Snuggie – Blanket with Sleeves

The advert for these blankets screams the joy of keeping your heating bill down, and keeping warm at the same time. What about answering the phone without needing to pull your arms our from underneath your blanket. There is Snuggie to save the day. My questions start with what happened to putting on a jumper, or turning up the heater! If you cant afford the heater being turned up, then use the blanket you already have and get over the small issues surrounding its use.

According to the new ad "everybody is talking about it", Hamish and Andy, Oprah and The Footy Show wore them for an episode. Nothing like the free endoresment of the celebrities with consumer power. Oprah could say eating dog poo is good for you and millions of American housewives would be chowing down on their best friends waste in no time. Now there is 'Designer Snuggies', which are ugly beyond beleif, and they expect you to wear these things out in public? This latest design line features Zebra, Leopard and Camel. Sounds more like animal prints rather than designer fabrics. And now there is a website dedicated to the sightings of Snuggies around Australia, and to add to that they are now making them for dogs. Complete with its own soppy ad about dogs getting cold outside.

Grow up people! Snuggies are for weak human beings with a hold on their infancy.
