What the Hell?!

When I was writing a blog on the Snuggie craze, I stumbled across this image, which begs the question why? It seems that it would be incredibly uncomfortable for both the parent and the mother. Apart from that it looks evil, as though there is a baby alien spawn coming out from the chest, resembling something from the Alien movie series. A baby wrapped in warm clothes is quite sufficient, if it isn't, stay inside!

The woman pictured looks happy, and so does the baby, but thats because everyone behind the camera is laughing at the sight of someone so pathetic as this.

What happens if the baby needs its nappy changed? I guess the snuggie comes with a built in colonoscopy bag.
