If there is one nice thing that earths people can be used for, it must be compassion. We all switched on our televisions to see what looked like a wine cooler bag floating across fields in Colorado. News then came in that there could be a six year old boy named Falcon Heene inside. This is where the compassion came into play, we saw, we watched and we held our breathe. But for nothing.

The balloon made its way to earth and once opened we were told there was no boy inside. Then news flooded in with theories the boy may have fallen out and so the search was on. Hours later the 'good' news was released confirming the safety of the boy. He was allegedly hiding in the attic of the family home.

Why are we not surprised this is just another 'only in America' moment. It seems to me like a very stupid scenario, the family was unaware of the Falcoin's location, thinking he may well have been in the balloon as it lifted off. I can forgive parents for losing kids at the supermarket or at the football. But losing a child in a hot air balloon? Come on that has to be the worst parenting mistake. Personally I think they knew where he was, it was just a freak decision to avert media backlash over the possible landing of their balloon. Imagine it found its way into the path of a plane or onto a busy highway and caused death. So you can imagine why a group of degenerate morons may conceive that story.

There is now a video showing the events leading up to the release of the balloon. It shows the father counting down and then kicking the ground in anger as he realises the balloon has actually lifted off. Some how these idiots assumed or wanted people to assume their child was in the balloon. The media coverage over this incident was massive and rightly so for what we knew at the time. Had we been led to believe otherwise it well may have played out differently. But that is always the perils of thinking in hind sight.

Moral of the story, ban backyard hot air balloons in Colorado and ban de-generates from breeding.
