Google – the new world leader

googleMove over Barack Obama, your job has been demoted slightly, we are now under the wrath of a new world leader. A colourful and simplistic leader who works quickly and likes to correct people on their mistakes. Excellent on directions and can even help you send and receive your emails.

Google is an unbeatable force in worldwide communications and research, servicing the inquisitive minds of millions every day. As mentioned earlier, Google even checks with you when you've made a spelling mistake. And have you ever realised no matter what you search it somehow puts the best results in the first page. Try going to the next page and see how poor the results get. Same again with the image search which just winds up getting ugly after page one. Google even finds images that are not named similar to what you searched, it can show you an apple even when the file is named orange.

How many times have any of us searched a really strange question in Google looking for the answer that will make us look smart at the next party. Like "How fast can an elephant run?" or "How old is the universe?" and we usually sift through the websites to find the quick answer we were after.

If Google was to crash, the world may not spin for the same length of time, traffic lights wont work and worldwide office productivity would probably increase.
