Hot in the City
Summer has moved in just as Spring was packing its bags and had the door ajar ready to go. With it's waves of brain numbing heat and sleepless nights I can only hope you all have air conditioning installed by now. If you don't I do feel for you. Some love Summer with as much passion as a brand new puppy brought home for the first time, I hold a more reserved feeling. Summer delivers sweaty days, sweaty nights and aggravated people. Unless your on a day off and sunning at a beach, then your cranky and tired due to the heat. Who likes dealing with those irritable people?
Even as I type, there is a huge silver ceiling fan chopping up the air above me and for some reason making a clicking sound in the roof. But the feeling of moving air is too much of a good thing to pass up for some odd sound. Today was a hot day, somewhere in the high thirties, I think I would have easily drunk three litres of water and I get home and feel like sleeping for a few days. But instead I felt getting on here and complaining about the heat would somehow be a better option. Enjoy this summer as no doubt it will be a hot and at the end we will claim to miss it and look forward to the next summer. Keep cool Melbourne.
