Can’t Live Without Them

Have you seen those bumper stickers driving around telling you "Without Nurses, WHO will care for you?" or "Without trucks Australia stops?". Well these are in massive support of their individual industries and I have no problem with that. But you can virtually say similar sayings for any industry. What about the tyre manufacturers who make the tyres for the trucks to keep them driving, or the mechanics, or the truck builders? With the nurses, there is the simple job of the rubber gloves to keep the nurses safe from disease, or the uniform supplies, or the people who make those little watches they count your pulse with. What would happen to nurses if all those people were to suddenly stop too.

Then we can imagine the world would be dirty without street sweepers, or the garbage collectors, what about the sewage workers. So next time your arguing the world stops without you, remember the world stops when everyone stops.
