Spoon Fed Useless Families
There are people in this world who love the government hand outs, they can live happily enough on the generosity of the big wigs and the abiding tax payer. These people are the pond scum of society, feeding off the muck and rubbish of humanity.
A friend of mine works for a family who due to strong Catholic beliefs don't use contraception, which in turn has left them with nine little welfare hungry children. The man of the house has a job and the wife attempts to maintain the household, but due to the amount of children they have, they get tax payer funded assistance. Every week they are eligible to 50 hours of child carer help in house. Which through an agency is charged out to the government at over $25 an hour, equating to over $1250 a week. When these nannies are in the house providing assistance with child care, they are only required to help with child related activities. But this family often makes jobs seem child related, therefore they can practically get any household job taken off their hands at the expense of the tax payer.
This family often goes out and leaves notes behind telling the worker what jobs need doing, including cleaning the kitchen and bringing in unrelated laundry. This family receives over $2000 per fortnight in other government assisted payments, as well as the $70'000 per year from the husbands income.
They have a disabled parking permit for a child who is internally unwell, but this enables the whole family to park closer than the rest of us. This does not bother me, but it does bother me that my mother with a double compound fractured leg was not entitled for one on a temporary basis, so we would have to park hundreds of meters away and wheel her there.
They would receive plenty more benefits from our generous government that the rest of us are not ever going to get a sniff off. Including an upcoming baby bonus for the ninth child, even though they have everything a baby could need from the previous eight attempts.
This whole case bothers me for several key reasons, the amount of children they have is self inflicted. They had nine chances to take part in proper sexual prevention methods and chose not too due to heavenly reasons. Due to this we now have to support them for the next 18 years per child, which could leave the tax payer over $100'000 poorer just from one family. I'm not calling for a ban on them having children but rather a block on the over the top payments, make them work for the money or to make the decision whether they can afford it.
IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD CHILDREN, DON'T MAKE THE REST OF US PAY FOR THEM!
