These times are a changin’
When people get caught up in the argument of how things used to be in society compared to how they are today I get cranky. They feel that all the values of yesteryear are forgotten and the youth of today are changing things for the worse.
Well I’m going to give you a quick lesson on time and it’s ability to change the way the world works. Each generation grows up in a different world more so today than ever before. We learn quicker due to the news, internet and socialising. Second to that, we want things to be quicker because we have gotten used to the fact the world can be more productive now with all the latest technology. So why do we want to go slow, when the beckoning ability of speed is at our finger tips?
Ever since man decided he could stand up a little straighter and use tools to kill animals and make huts, we have been changing with each generation. Nomads are a perfect example, as they want to move about to experience a wider range of the world. Well we do the same with our values, whatever ones slow us down or hold us back, get the bin. It’s tragic in some cases, but inevitable, it’s genetic.
If red hair, height and baldness are in the genes, then so is evolutional changes. Get over and on with it.
