Slow Shoppers
Have you ever stood in line at a shop and had to wait and wait and change over to leaning on the other leg because the unorganized shopper in front of you is slow and hapless?
They seem to bring their whole life to the counter, they empty bags and pockets looking for a wallet, struggle to decide which credit card to look for and ultimately they even forget their pin. In fact thats not the end, once the clerk is done with the sale they still manage to waste your time. You get to watch as they use the counter as a sorting and packing table. Pushing everything back into it's disorganised order and only once they have finished will they move to allow for you to move forward. Quite often this will take place without so much as a sorry. Another common trait is placing a child on the counter, they have legs! Let them stand! Even if they are two years old, they can stand. We hate handling dirty money, how about a smelly nappy bum sitting on the counter you want to put your items on?
I have a new idea, it's probably a little over the top but a small electric shock for time wasting shoppers who exceed a three second move on time would change things. It might improve time spent waiting, because if they take too long they will be zapped and if that doesn't teach them a lesson, then nothing will. If your a slow shopper and you see ms in line, shop elsewhere.
