Spin Doctors

When you need to put a spin on a story, it's best to never have told the story before applying the spin. Therefore people can't reference the truth from the spin as easy as they can if they have heard the original. That is why I find the recent Carbon Tax talk so humourous. Not only did our pathetic excuse for a Prime Minister say she was not going to introduce a carbon tax at the last election, but she has also changed its advertising to make it seem more friendly. First it was a tax now it is a price. Does that mean we don't pay GST (General Services Tax)? Instead we pay a GSP (General Services Price). Then they call the 100 companies involved 'our countries biggest polluters', who on earth measured that? Did they follow them around for a year with a carbon capture device to analyse the output or was it simply a guess? It's also being peddled as the Clean Energy Future initiative, because it is intended to create a push for 'cleaner' energy ideas. The same ideas that often cost a horrible amount of money, like our Desalination plant to provide the water we don't need and consume the power we don't have spare. Then there is the age-old rule of thumb, if a company is taxed more, then they pass it on to the consumer. So the government has also looked at that too, claiming they have calculated the cost increases we will face and pumping the money back to us. But they forget that if I am taxed $10 and this affects my business, then I will make sure I charge enough to get my $10 back, so I can maintain the same income. So how does the government expect that industry wont do the same? They think they can pay the people some money to assist in the living cost increase and still have some tax money left over for green power ideas. It will become another massive fuck up on the account of a Labor government. The Greens are causing this, once again showing how little they know about money. Pathetic bunch of vegetarian, homosexual, PBR radio listening morons they are.

A world without the Greens is a better one. We want to advance the human race, not dwindle as prehistoric tree hugging pacifists.

Lady Gaga – Gaga I am not

Someone brought up a good point to me the other day, they highlighted the type of fans that Lady Gaga has. The degenerates, misguided and oddly opinionated people are drawn to the garbage bag clad freak show that is Lady Gaga. This was evident last week as she visited Australia for the first time and her 'monsters' (as the fans are known to her) came out wearing her trademark style of 'clothing'. This trademark is usually constructed from your neighbours recycling bin or using the fabric of your grandpa's couch and then apply glue add sequins and you have yourself a very strange one off train wreck outfit.

Lady Gaga is a marketing genius and has proven that the world lusted for a different artist with flair that was in a different direction from the others. I give her credit for her rise to fame on the back of some clever songs, carefully crafted image and a genuine reach out to fans. But its these fans that cause me the most concern. They attach themselves to someone who stands for the odd, the quiet and the lame. Lady Gaga wears clothes (if I can call them that) that no one else can wear, she can get away with it because she is famous and its her image. But when you see someone walking through the street in the same bazaar clothes, you cant help but think, did they get mugged of their clothes and have to rummage through a bin to get what they could?

Lady Gaga is making millions off the lonely hearted space cadets that are the youth of today. Heaven forbid these same fans ever run the country. Wait a second... I believe there is a party that accepts those oddities with open arms...

Muslim Women Swimming Facility

There has been a trend slowly gaining momentum in this country, it involves listening to the minority and making changes to suit them rather than the masses. The most prevalent at the moment is the Gillard Government Climate Change Pollution tax which as far as the polls claim, it not something wanted by the majority of Australians. But there is a new development in the wondering world of minority policy changes. Monash Council in Victoria has voted to pay for a curtain to allow Muslim women to swim at the Monash Public swimming pool without their religious attire. The problem comes at the costing, the curtains will cost $45'000 to purchase and install. This is coming out of the playground budget and therefore will adversely affect the safety, quality and accessibility of the playgrounds for the local children. You can't take $45'000 out of a particular budget and expect it not to cause a ripple on effect when the money is later needed.

The Muslim women in the community who have obviously made requests for a form of private swimming time are costing hard-working rate payers this absurd amount of money when they are in a minority. How many women are expected to use this new curtain swimming facility? Well nobody who has been apart of the process is saying anything about the number of expectant Muslim women who will take part.

The curtains are to cover the glass facade of the building to allow the running of the event after normal operating hours. Because the perceived idea that while the lights are on inside, men would go to the glass walls and look at these women for their own gratification. Well I don't think I have heard a more far stretched theory. Men can stand at this window at any time, any day or night and watch as many non-Muslim women as they like. Yet those women have no protection against the same perverted people.

This country is a one that prides itself on the ability for any person to make a living and enjoy a safe and prosperous lifestyle. We have this lifestyle due to the overwhelming nature of Australians and the opportunities provided. So when people who come from overseas to take part in the ways of Australian life, they want the laws and process' changed to suit their wants and needs. Do you think a small group of Australians could request an open air bar in a Arab country? Never, because they have objections to public drinking. So why should we make changes to our country to suit a very small minority of people, especially when it involves a large amount of money taken from a children's playground budget.

I can see some major changes that astound me, because they involve minority groups, Islam women are in the headlines, because Burqa's are a cover all type of attire that restrict normal process of identification. And only now are Police looking into whether or not it is legal for them to ask for the attire to be altered on the spot to allow for identification. Are you serious? Can Police simply not ask or if refused, force a person wearing a Burqa to remove parts thereof to allow for them to be identified? I cannot wear a motorbike helmet into a bank, because the staff would immediately call the Police, yet someone can wear a complete cover Burqa and happily go about their banking. At least with a motorbike helmet it wont cover clothing and therefore you would have something to alert Police about. Yet with a Burqa, you could only say "Officer I think it was black, yes I know it was black, from head to toe". What good is that? Burqas only come in black or blue!

How about making some laws to protect and serve the majority? Don't allow multiple wives, even if they are married outside this country. Because I dont want to have to foot their Centrelink payments.
